Thy Sins Are forgiven (1952)

In Capernaum, four friends carry a man paralyzed with the palsy up to the roof of the house where Jesus is teaching. They lower their friend through a hole they tear in the roof. Jesus says to the man, "Thy sins are forgiven," and "Rise, take up your bed and go home," much to the consternation of the scribes and Pharisees.
