Ricardo launched his acting career in Venezuela working for the RCTV Network, Marte TV and the VENEVISION Network, (partner of UNIVISION). His next step landed him in Mexico City working for the top TV Network in Mexico, TELEVISA. He then decided to further his career and go to Hollywood. Due to his impressive acting skills, he was immediately accepted into the renowned Lee Strasberg’s Actors Studio where he had the opportunity to be trained by Al Pacino and other greats. Since then he has been seen on CBS, NBC, UNIVISION and ESTRELLA TV in the U.S. Ricardo played the role of a Double Agent Assassin on Days of Our Lives (CBS). This exciting role incorporates Ricardo’s own stunts in an action-packed rumble with a lead character that he is hired to kill. Ricardo also enjoyed working on Passions (NBC) where he played the Mexican Chief of Police. Ricardo has appeared on the NBC series E-RING as well as the drama series Historias para Contar on UNIVISION. Due to their popularity, Ricardo’s Tele-Novelas can be seen airing repeatedly on UNIVISION and its affiliated networks. He finished working on the thriller film Mexican American Psycho, written and produced by Jose. D. Mata, where he stars as the Hero Detective who catches a dangerous psychopath. In the film Hollywood Familia, released in theatres nationally, Ricardo plays the loving father of the lead actress’ character when she was a child. He also worked in Spain on the film La Enemiga, an Italian/Venezuelan Co-Production by Bolivar Films. His role in the film 4-Bidden, produced by Swashbuckler Entertainment, portrays Ricardo as the sexy and fiercely loyal Right Hand Man of heiress Jordan Silque played by Rochelle Aytes, also starring Blair Underwood. His latest role as Guillermo Santos, Jr. in the television series Sangre Negra, is a leading role in the series that he plays alongside Erik Estrada as Guillermo Santos – his father. The eldest of the Santos brothers, Guillermo Jr. was born in Venezuela and traveled with his parents to the U.S. at a very young age. A brilliant student, he followed in his father’s footsteps and went to law school. Like his dad, Guillermo made a radical decision after his divorce to become a cut-throat defense attorney. Ricardo’s repertoire of talents not only includes acting but also hosting. Ricardo is well known as the heroic and mysterious Host, “Angel X,” of Secretos (ESTRELLA TV). Angel X is the leader of an investigative team offering help to people in need where the law has failed them. Secretos’ national prime time ratings have often topped those of Telemundo. Ricardo’s hosting skills have also been demonstrated on Estrellas Hoy (ESTRELLA TV), where he is a stylish and charismatic Co-Host of an exciting talk show revealing the latest breaking celebrity news and gossip. Ricardo co-hosted Alarma TV (ESTRELLA TV), a sensational news series reporting on the most incredible events around the globe. Ricardo had the pleasure of Guest Hosting Elva y Chris En Vivo (Los Angeles En Vivo in Los Angeles) which is a live talk show giving the news and advocating the latest musical groups airing on ESTRELLA TV. Ricardo has had enormous success in the commercial and voice-over industry. Due to his velvety rich voice and his timeless good looks, he has been the promotional voice and image for major campaigns such as Sears, Cox Communications, Home Depot, WalMart, McDonald’s, Toyota, Centrum and Gillette, to name a few. He was chosen as the Hispanic Spokesperson for Bank of America Live Events. His intricately trained voice was used to dub Benicio Del Toro in the Academy Award winning movie,Traffic, as well as countless television and radio commercials.
